When I was a kid, I would go with my parents to antique car swap meets. I would find a box filled with broken jewelry, coins, bits of metal pieces, stamps, nuts and bolts. I remember feeling like I had found a treasure trove. I have never lost that feeling and now take those bits of memories and pieces of the past and make unique pieces of wearable art.

My mother gave me a strand of handmade glass beads that my father bought her in Italy in the 50's. They always intrigued me so when I started making jewelry, I loved using similar glass beads which are called lampwork beads. I then learned how to make them! Lampwork beads are glass beads made on a metal rod with a torch and rods of glass. I sell my beads in my Etsy store and use them in my designs.
